Help!!! Cabby kangarooing and died!!!

How do you bridge the relay. not an expert? i am having similar trouble, brought the car back from local vw specialist (new gaerbox) driving down the road, kangarooing, drop into lower gear, accelerated, felt like i hit a brick wall, then it died!!!, mate towed me home, the car then jumpstarted, ran, then died again!!! if i leave the car for an hour or so, it will start, then die!!!! and it wont turn over or anything..........not sure if electrical or mechanical or both!!!!!

if it wasn't doing it before it went to the vw ''specialist'' take it back and let them sort it as it is more than likely something they have done

Talked to vw specialist, he said straight away, a bush in the gearbox, booked in tomorrow.....

3 weeks later, vw specialist is lost, new battery as it was shot, 2nd brand new alternator as his testing equipment is pointing at alternator problems….
now sent to auto-electricians, £££££££££ going up, no car for Newark meet tomorrow?? not happy…..should have stuck to vw campers…  :dontknow:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :x  :x  :x  :x  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:

re-wire the red battery -> alternator wire and see how you go
