Hella h4 headlight gsf

Post

Evening, I'm looking at buying a new hella h4 headlight for the passenger side. Looking at the gsf website they offer two types, a standard and premium. Can any one tell me the difference between the two and is it worth buying both sides? I'm thinking it might look odd having a brand new one next to one that's done a few miles

At a guess I would say that the more expensive lamp would have a better beam pattern, but in my experience that isn't always the case, you might find that the more expensive one are more consistant in their build quality and so two lamps would have the same beam pattern.
If they are not the same make of lamp I would be inclined to change both as then you should have matching beam patterns.

I would say go for the best if budget allows, there a safety feature at the end of the day & Mk1s are renowned for having poor performance in the headlight department. Plus the quality of the Non OE trash coming in from China is just a joke!    Chris
