heater panel removal

as above i need to remove my heater panel as my knob has fell off(the heater blower speed control knob) :wink: does anybody have a-how-to.....cheers

Has your knob snapped in the switch itself? Or just fallen off completely? If you can get the remains of your knob out the switch, another should slide in smoothly, thus giving complete control over the blow etc again.

the complete knob has came out and the switch behind the heater panel has moved so making it difficult to slide the knob back in  

Can you reach round and grip it, to 'take it from the rear' so to speak? Failing that, strip off the dash trim panel thing by removing its screws (some are under covers which you need to prise off - the heater one coming off after the levers are tugged out). It would also be handy to remove the stereo.
