headlight highbeam mk1 golf with qaud lights on front

Hello My mk1 Just purchased has no wiring to the single highbeam units and im wondering if any body knows which wires are meant to be there as the golf does have a few wiring issues??

Fog lights

Probably after market grill and wiring never fitted to car

You might have fogs or might have high beams.

Have a look at the letters/numbers on the lens, for a bunch of codes. This will say for definite (you'll need to do a search on the codes, I can't remember off the top of my head which codes mean what!)

A more vague way to differentiate them is the fogs have vertical lines. The problem being, so do driving lamps - but they're not as distinct.

Fogs are horizontal, Driving lights are verticle

i have decided to remove them and replace with a single light grill anyone have a spare one going at all???
