Headlight glass fallen out.

Hi,

Whilst polishing my car ('83 tintop) I noticed that the headlight glass was fairly loose and there was condensation inside the lamp. During my investigations I loosened the glass enough to make me want to remove it completely so that it didnt work loose whilst driving along.

I'm hoping I can simply glue this back together as the rubber washer is in good enough nick and there's nothing wrong with the light itself. Has anyone got any thoughts on what I should do this with? I was thinking araldite or similar but maybe a rubber or silicon sealant might be better?

i sealed mine with silicone and so far all been well, they held together perfect, just give em a few hours in the warm to dry
