Also, do you have both springs in your hazard switch? And are the contacts clean?

sorry i know it's an old thread but i would be very grateful for some help: my hazard light switch popped open while i was removing it and now i can't make it work properly are there two tiny springs as i only have one?

Yes there are two - I got away by substituting one with a folded piece of paper (think it's still in there actually). Works fine!
Or you could get a 2nd hand switch from Crazyquiff or similar for a couple of quid.

i'll get one from crazy quiff if i can't fix it. It's really anoying because that tiny spring is out there on the road somewhere - like a needle in the autumn leaves! :x
