Hazard light indicator fairy

I had problem of hazards work  but no indicators. Replaced switch fuses and relay. checked switches. Solved by connecting fuse holders  9 and 10 with solder?!

Till it catches fire . You have removed the fuse and soldered the link ?

Indeed, try replacing the switch (hazard one), might even be your alarm if its got blinkers on it.

Which side of the fuse holders did you link (positive or negative)?

Also, do you have both springs in your hazard switch? And are the contacts clean?

sorry i know it's an old thread but i would be very grateful for some help:  my hazard light switch popped open while i was removing it and now i can't make it work properly are there two tiny springs as i only have one?

I cant remember exactly but you can tell because theres little holes the springs go in and the metal plate sits on top I would imagine theres more than one though as its a multi pole switch (by this I mean it has more than one switching circuit)

Yes there are two - I got away by substituting one with a folded piece of paper (think it's still in there actually). Works fine!

Or you could get a 2nd hand switch from Crazyquiff or similar for a couple of quid.

nice one!
i'll get one from crazy quiff if i can't fix it. It's really anoying because that tiny spring is out there on the road somewhere - like a needle in the autumn leaves! :x
