GOLF 1984 CONVERTIBLE DASH NOT WORKING....

Please can any one help? My dash doesn't work apart from the speedo that shows a faster reading than it really is. No petrol, temp, mpg and rev counter working. I swapped the dash but donr the same thing. Any ideas………….
