Getting to my speedo/rev counter + stuff!

Right!

The clear plastic thats on the front of my speedo/rev counter has 2 tabs, which are used to secure it. One of the said tabs has snapped off, so now my speedo sits on the wonk, which is really annoying!

Firstly, can you get the see-thru plastic bit, or is it all integrated?

Secondly how do i get to the speedo to take it out… Hairyarse said i go thru the heater matrix and stereo, but how?! Im assuming i take the nobs off the heater etc, does it then slide out?!

No! Notthe heater matrix!! Just the heater panel!! Bascially you need to remove the plastic surround from around the clocks but these are held in by (aside from screws) all the switches - so these need to come off.

To take clocks themselves apart I think you can only do from the rear, remove (carefully!) the blue membrane first! 8O

yes that helps a lot indeed! i didnt mean the heater matrix, i meant the controls, haha!

I've temporarily managed to level the clocks up using some cardboard, but hopefully over the weekend i will find a more permanent solution!

Is the see through bit seperat does anyone know?
