Gear Lever Schematic Needed
Just bought a Mk1 Clipper on a "G" plate. The gear lever has snapped and just drops through the floor. Was a matter of simply un-doing a nut at the end of the selector rod and pushing a bolt through the end of the gear lever and it was off. All the ball joint was there and spring but nothing to keep it up in the housing.
I need a schematic of some description to show me what a complete gear lever comprises of and how it fits into the housing.
I have a Haynes Manual (VW Golf, Jetta 1984 - 1995) but it says on the bottom that it does not cover Convertibles. Subsequently, the schematics in the book differ from what I actually have in my hand.
Many Thanks
