Fuseboard

Hello all,

 My mk1 1982 golf is getting tempermental in its old age, the stereo, Indicators & windscreen wipers intermitently play up… If I wiggle my fuses usually they will ocme back on.

 My question is what is the best way of replacing / repairing these…they seem to rusted in?

if its the actual fuses that are rusted then just pull each one out and replace or clean up with some emery cloth

Sorry to but in but water ingress is your biggest problem check for leaks around the fuze box . Replace it if flooded or has been wet  , when the leak is cured .

Im planning on replacing my fusebox, the car is a 1980 Gti and the fusebox has the old style fuses (continental type?, not the blade ones)

I was just wanting to confirm that i need to order the first of the two options (93555) from GSF.
Does anyone know if this will be a direct replacement to my current fusebox?

i did have a look at the sticky before but i cant see the PIKCHURES at work,
