Fuse board

Hi,

I'm new to the website and have a flit through the archives. My MK1 Cabrio requires a new fuse board as a few of the connectors have got a little crusty one of which being for the fuel system resulting in poor running! I have heard this is becoming a common fault of mk1s. i was wondering how difficult it is to replace the fuse board my self? Im capable of re-wiring radios and have a good(ish) understanding of electronics. I'd be grateful to hear from anyone whos had a go them slefs.

Many Thanks,

Chris

if you get the right fuse board i don't think it will be to hard a job as all the main block connecters are designed to only fit in one space. take your time fusebox side by side swapping one  at a time. and double check.

Mk1 2l TSR G60.  .getting. There twice as fast

Mk1 lhd diesel…….getting. There for half the cost

thanks again for your advise mate, it was easy!! the hardest part was getting my hand in behind to unclip some of the connectors.

Cheers,
