Fuel pump issues

Can anybody shed any light on this issue:
Fuel pump doesnt prime when ign is turned on or run when engine turns over, fuel pump relay clicks on and off for priming and 12v signal is measured on the other side of the relay within priming period.

Tried shorting the relay and multimeter shows 12v passing through the cable, but still no fuel.

when i bought the car the windscreen seal had gone and it had been leaking in onto the fuse box for an unknown period - could it be the culprit?

Have you checked at the fuel pump itself for 12v?

Have 12v ign live at the lift pump, no live at the main pump.

Also - Relay and pump are new (less than 100miles) and the fuse has not blown

Looks like a broken wire to the main pump then. Try a fused wire direct to the main pump to make sure it's working first before you replace from the relay a new cable.

sorted now - turned out 2be a dodgy fuse!
