Front/Rear wiper

Hi,
Do the front and rear wipers get their 12v from the same fuse/relay? The front one has stopped working,but the rear is ok.
Just wondered if anyone has any pointers before I start jumping into it. Im assuming that because everything else if fine,it rules out a dodgy ignition switch-pack

what fusebox is it early ceramic or late blade? there are separate fuses and relays for front/rear

Blade fuse-box.....Also,is there a knack to getting to the actual fuses?Apart from growing a s shaped hand,is it hinged or something,just it seems very difficult(impossible) to get to and I dont want to force things that shouldnt be in case I break anything.

What happens to a wiper motor when the car never goes out in the rain,and the wipers only get used at MOT time…it sticks!
Tapped the casing with a 10mm spanner,running smoothly now!

a fuse puller makes it slightly easier to remove them, later fuseboxes have a hole in the spare relay slot for the vw puller to fit into, on earlier cars i guess you didnt get one or it was fitted somewhere else!
