fog light switch!

Hey guys

i have a had a search around but couldnt find a straight answer regarding the fog light switch!

i have a caddy, with quad head lights.

which appear to be wired up (not factory) for when the full beam is flicked on via the steering wheel stalk all of the lights come on (driving lights)

however my fog light switch has 3 positions……..:roll:

is there a fog light switch with only rear and off?

i have not found any un used plugs up front for the inner lights to be used as fogs……bit of a mystery

I think the switch has a couple of settings, the first for the front fogs (in the original set up) and then the second for the rear.

Obviously with your set up (and mine) when you pull the stalk your main beam comes on as do the inner lamps.

In our set up we have to click the fog switch all the way through for the rear fog lamp to work.

Is that clear???  :roll:

if its a later model then the inner lights are in fact spot lights and not fogs, it was only the early GTI MK1 that got the inners as fog lights, and yes they are different the beam pattern isnt the same.

as above on fog switch, 1st click is fronts only, 2nd is front & rear fogs.
