Fog lamp switch load

Does anybody know if the fog lamp switch (unused) could carry the signal that the igniton coil sends to the fuel pump without overheating.  Its the signal to the pump to to tell it the engine is still running after initial priming is the one i want to "interupt".  If so, would it be the "+ "and "83a" pins i would use?
