hi my fan only cums in when my car hints just under the start of the max line any ideas already changed fan swich?thanks

change thermostat m8, i belive it maybe the cuase opening to late, as the temp sensor is before the rad, which is showing you its hot, and the water does not cirulate till the thermostat opens, there for not at operating temperture in the rad, and in return not kicking in fan, until the thermostat opens allowing the water to cirulate and heat the rad switch up etc etc

could be conpletely wrong but its the basic princible of the coolent system

thanks mate but ive already done that twice and testd it and seems to work bottem pipe geting hot around the 1/2 on the gauge

Is the temperature gauge settleing back to normal after fan has stoped then? Have you got all the air out of the system? Is the car actually overheating?
