engine wont start

My new hood on my sportline is working like an immobilizer, if i lower the hood before starting car it ust wont start, like the immobilizer, turns but wont fire up. Then put the hood back up and still wont start  When i go out without touchin hood always starts on the button first turn off the key and always had.  There  is an immobilizer and never given any problems.  Can i disconnect power hood and go manual? or is it immobilizer problem? The weathers great but she's going nowhere :cry:  rubbish!

Could it be if you lower the hood before starting the engine you're probably draining the battery and the car wont start?

Lower the hood manuly. In the boot take off the side trims ans let off the valve and you can drop it by hand.
