electrics or not electrics .. that is the question????????

ive been looking for a while now .. theres proberly a pic of where it is on here somewhere but can i find it :dontknow: can i hell …. i have a 1986 cabby gti .. with spade fuses .. still wondering if my fule pump is the prob as when i run a wire to the pump it spins up no prob .. but the car still wont start .. now im thinking its something else .. mybe something to do with the injection system any sergestions??
