Electrical problems with my Mk1 Golf

Driving it about a week ago I got that hot electrical smell which is never good!

The wipers, stereo and heater blower stopped working. I have had a good look for melted wires under the dash and there was no sign.

I started with the wipers, there is no live at the 19 relay (wiper relay i Believe), at fuse 11, the motor or the switch. Any ideas where I go next or is it fuse box symptoms.

The car is a 1983 1.3 Driver which has the series 2 fuse box.

Help.
