Electric window switches

Hello People!
I'm a newbie, and I'm hoping you people can help me before the men in a van cart me off in a straight jacket! Just bought a '89 clipper, and at some time one of the owners has put electric front windows in…..lovely, if they worked! Taking the switches off I find that the wires arent actually attached to the switches, and as I'm not great with these things I ahve no idea what cable goes to what terminal on the switch. all I can tel you is there are 5 terminals on the switch, and 5 leads, 2 red 2 black and 1 reb/black….which looks like it goes to the actual motor in the door its self. Can anyone help, Ta People!

If the wires were not connected then i would say that they were disconnected because they went faulty [you must still have maual winders as well ?]. There are lots of different after market kits for electric windows out there and it would be very difficult to give approximate connections with out seeing the kit . If was me i would either find out who made them and search for a wiring diagram or seek a friendly auto electrician Good luck ………
