ELectric roof Issues
First time i put it down the other day went down really smooth, " i had the engine on "
then i came to put it up no joy it wouldnt work, so after panicking like a mad man trying different ways
1) engine on - no good
2) engine off - no good
so i put it in the garage and left it a while
after speaking to PNE rivage who has been a god sent , he told me about just putting key in without turning
and it worked !!
So again today i had the roof down no problem went to put it up and again didnt work this time without panic i tried with engine off and key in not turned onto the battery, ( i can here it clicking in the boot )
but it still didnt work !
so again left it for a few hours and then went and tried it just now and went up no problem
Does anyone know what it could be ?
PNE mentioned dodgy ignition port or maybe an immobilizer ( mine is not working )

I tried it again today put key in without turning , straight down then up again no problem
so it seems to be after i been driving it for a while !
I checked key in the hydraulics system, it was tightly turned clockwise
Also the fluid level is about half way so thats seems ok ( how do you fill it up , i couldn't find where to do it ? )
Cheers

sound to me like the previous owner has been fiddling.
There is a trick to disconnect two wires in the boot to make your hood work with engine on or off. I have done this to mine. check out this post..

when we meet up can have a look behind my switch to see if yours has been rewired
