The speaker size on my cab is as follows:
Front speaker pods = 6X4
Rear = 4x4

Anyone else had problems fitting these speakers?
I bought 2 sets for front and rear
The problem was that if you look at the speaker cone, there is a 5mm raised lip all around the edge of it which the originals don't have. So this pushed the speaker cone further away from the speaker grill
The plastic pegs in the door pockets and rear parcel shelf supports are then a bit too short to properly attach the speakers to
or is it just me?

the same jbl speakers were in my car wen i bought it and i didn't like them very much (maybe i'm just fussy!) so i changed them for a set of soundstream sst 4.6 that i got cheap off ebay and they are FANTASTIC!
they do a 4" fitment aswell for the rear, although both sizes are quite expensive, the difference in sound quality is well worth the extra cash
i have since sold the 6x4's as i planned to got for 6.5" components up front…but its proving to be a bit of a pain!

I'm having the same problem. Did anyone find a way to resolve this? I've dabbed some superglue on the pegs but doubt it will hold for long.
