Dash wiring drama's

I bought an 83 cabby with a dash wiring fault first thing was the heater blower motor wasnt working so whilst changing the dash we discovered an old dash fire wiring bodge , tried to repair but its nuttsed so i got a mk1 rooco loom and took the twin plug sppedo loom from mine and slaved it in , now i have lost all dash lighting and the mfa goes hay wire .
no horn . I tried chaging the fusebox but the car wouldnt start.
me thinks Im after a known good box and dash loom anyone help out there ? also have a spare black socket wire and a green and white one wheni re did the fuse box . And by the way the battery drians !!!

got that hopefully picking it up thursday , Hav solvrd lights , and i think horn now i have had a play but brown and white wire in erngine bay wheres that go and where does rocker earth to ?

Best bet if you can is to post some clear pictures of the offending wires/items , we can usually help then .

solved dash issues , well horn not working now , just yellow wire and brown with white trace in the engine compartment , and where does the rocker cover earth strap earth to please , oil pressure light flashes with yellow attatched to sender , !!!
