3 bulbs and you have to take the clocks out to replace them . All 3 blown ? Rare , but if as you say the heater light dims then ? You need to check you have illumination power to the clocks before you rip out the dash , check my sticky above here for wiring to the clocks , you need to check illumination power when lights on . Power to clocks ? Replace bulbs . No power reverse check for problem .

I took the dash surround out as its cracked to get a replacement one.
Now my warning light re temp flashes,
if i put the car on full beam it stops the light flashing, the rev counter dies and the clock switches off.
Getting fed up with it now, all i did was take the hosuing off, notthing more, not touched the wiring.
Not going billing now as im worried about the temp light flashing. until thats fixed my car aint going knowhere and the mechanic is busy all week.

FFS!!!! ALL I DID WAS REMOVE THE DASH INNER I DIDNT TOUCH ANY WIRING!!!!!!!!

As Dano said, check the little earth wire at the rear right hand side of the rocker cover.
I've driven to Santa Pod and back with the temperature gauge wandering up and down and light flashing etc :mrgreen: :wink:

my temp gauge dont even move and my light flashes and buzzes like a 70's disco!!
your cars in spot on nick so i wudnt worry about it.
plus uve just had half ur engine rebuilt so…
like every one had sed its probs a couple fuses and a dodgy earth.
nothing to worry about dude!
