Dash fire and rewiring

Afternoon,

I had a bit of a scare the other day with a lot of smoke pouring out my dash. I pulled over and could see flames so rather than risk the car going up i put it out with a fire extinguisher.

Anyway to cut a long story short it looks like the fire started on the right of the dash, not exactly sure how, but done a decent amount of damage to the wiring.

I am planning just to get another loom and just fit another complete dash so as to have all the wiring done safely and properly.

Does anyone know where i can source a loom and another dash from.

same happened to my last mk1, it was the wire that powers the dash bulbs, it hit an earth and toasted its self. i got away with just replacing a couple of wires. i beleave this wire is not fused......... 8O
