Dash Bulbs

Hi

I have an A reg Driver and with no dash bulbs. This has been fine over the summer but with the dark nights is becoming an issue!

I have tried my local parts shop for the bulbs but they have sold me the wrong ones and do not seem able to get the right bulb.

Anyone know which bulbs i will need and where I could get them?

Can give you the VW part number if you like. There are at least two I know of, 1.2W and 2W, black and white plastic I believe. I did remove the bulb that came in the plastic holder one time and stick some other bulb in, can't remember the bulb type/number,but it was loose, worked but was loose. For the cost I would stick to new ones or test some used ones from a salvage yard and not use just bulbs stuck in the holder.

Don't use the 2W version unless you want to overload the Rheostat

1.2W of lighting is plenty….  :roll: better still use the LED replacement ones (they'll still dim but not so much).

Crazy Quiffs only seem to stock the 2w version which ya have advised against so of to try autobulbs!
