Crazy Indicators!

Its not really much of an issue, but my indicators are proper fast when i put them on, and my hazards are slow, like regular indicators….Does this sound like the startings of a gremlin? Or could it all be linked to my horn issue?!

Usually when indicators run fast one of the bulbs is not working - blown or otherwise.

Indicators run very fast when a bulb is gone, but if the earth is poor (usually the earth point in the boot, or rusty bulb contacts in the front indicators), the indicators can run a bit faster than the hazard circuit (The circuit and it's earth point(s) are different, probably because of the higher load from more bulbs)

My Golf's right-hand indicator-rate used to vary constantly in wet weather, due to water/corrosion in the front bulb-holders! I sorted it with a good clean-up and a new seal.

that could be it then, cos i jus checked the indicators n they're all fine!

im going to try that tomorrow
and get them sorted for 1nce
