Cold Start Valve

Help!!!!!!!!!

Having issues start up from cold. I've checked the cold start valve and petrol is being delivered. I've removed the start valve and turned it over and it doesn't spray. I replaced the start valve and still doesn't work :banghead:

Its an electrical injector, check the plug has +12V when the starter turns. If not, then it could be the thermo time switch, this supplies the voltage for an amount of time, which varies according to the temperature.

I've checked the live feed, there is no live feed to cold start valve, thermotime switch or the warm reg, are these connected to a relay or fuse.
Seems strange no power to any, where should I start to Look??

Just been proding about looking. Close to the bottom of the rad there is a think red wire that goes to the starter running along side the red wire is a thin blue one.
The blue one looks like it's been ripped from somewhere and not cut anyone know where this blue wire is from!! and cloud it have anything to do with the cold start problem.

Bo - it isn't.

The two red wires go from the alternator to the starter motor solenoid.

The blue wire goes from the alternator to………………the alternator warning light in the dash.

This light goes out when the alternator generates above a certain voltage - not sure what that voltage is though :o)
