choke and handbreak light

HELP the clutch and handbreak light does not work! well it did, and then i had to connect the wire from my alarm for the hand break and as i was taking it out it stopped working, i just removed the wire and replaced it and it stopped working, i checked my fuses and it all seems alright and also my wires are in one peice help please!

most prob a bad earth, these run of earth, check connections clean em up with some sand paper or emory cloth, not sure if the switch's pack up on the hand brake  :dontknow:  mines never workd, not really to botherd about mine as its a track day car now.

i was thinking it could be the earth but somehow im not really convinced as it worked before perfect and i had to go and touch it and it stpooed working!

i live to dub....

A shot in the dark, but is the plastic plunger for the handbrake light switch stuck down? mine was, just flicked it with a screwdriver and works fine now.

try earthing the wire straight out on a clean bit of metal i.e tempeory extend it with a bit of wire and connect it to the door striker bolt etc try a few places just incase u havent got a good connection, or even if u want and have along enough bit of cable run it straight to the negitve side of the battery, the light should come on, if it does, u have a fualty or stuck switch, or the contact surface may not be clean?? if it dont, u may have the bulb blown? or u have a wiring fault some where in that side of the circuit.

the plastic handbreak switc is fine, and i will try and earth it soonish, but tbh i dont think it wil make a difference, and can both bulbs blow at the same time..they dont look blown...thanks guys
