Centre dials question.

Can the centre dials of a mk1 Golf gti be hooked up to a Golf on a carb because I really want some… or is this a halfwitted exercise?

There are the 3 dials fitted to my mk1 diesel so they will fit any car, the sender for the oil pressure screws into the gearbox side of the head in place of the oil switch,the oil temp sender sits in the spare location in the oil filter housing (big block) and the voltage is wired into the fuse box,on a ignition switched live.
