Hi!

Been having some electrical issues. Such as loosing instrument lights and all rear lights. Only a gentle punch in the dash, and it comes back.

So I been tracing some loose wires that I found in the dash.

But there are some I cant figure out.

Bunch of wires marked with the number "5". They're not giving any voltage or ground connection.
They are going behind the dash towards the passenger side, but I cant figure where.

Has anybody seen these before? :)Picture:

What's the connector like at the end? Maybe it's a connector for a switch which your car doesn't have or something?

Thanks for awnsering :)

It's just one of those white wire connectors, but its not connected to anything. About 4 of them goes into the connector, and 3 wires just lays around.

Yeah, I think so too. Must have been a switch there that no longer exist.
Hm, so the question must be, a switch for what?

Since the wires are marked with a number, it looks like it has been there since the beginning.
(And not some fancy thing that has been installed by the previous owner. Which there are alot of…)

White connector with 4 pins? Sounds like the radio feed.
What colour are the wires into the connector? White/blue, red, and brown?

Looks like a standard loom. What engine/ model is your car? Haynes manuals are the best for things like this.
