brake lights

check the switch…some either at pedal under dash and can be adjusted easily so maybe that's all it needs

or it will have a pressure type switch plumed into the brake lines somewhere near the m/c….check the connections on that…clean if corroded…if ok then put a small piece of wire temporarily between the terminals at the switch…if brake lights come on, dead or dirty switch

or maybe youve just had 1 light out for a while and not noticed and now the other ones popped

Brake lights not working

I do not see a connection, and the lights are electrical and electronic brake is mechanical. The next possibility is most likely a fuse. There is a fuse that controls the brake lights also. Look in the fuse box should be labeled lights. Pull it, look closely. Theres a metal filament inside it and you can see. If the metal is broken fillament (cast aside), then its burnt, change and work. Next in line after the fuse to see is the brake light stop switch. It is a switch connected to the brake pedal.

Managed to get mine sorted! On the brake fluid resiovior there is two electrical sensors going into the side. The one on the near side had corroded connections to it. Just cleaned the connections with a bit of emery paper placed the spade connector back on and jobs a good un! People can now see me braking :P
