Both indicator lights flash when indicate left or right

Both indicator lights flash when indicating left or right!!  

I recently had a problem with the indicator fuse popping when switching on ignition, which you helped me with.  (See earlier topic) This was rectified by replacing faulty stalk switch.  OK until now.  Discovered problem after being tooted!  A little confusing for the other road users, I guess!

Any ideas, please?
