Blue and white wire

Blue and white wire behind the dash can any1 tell me what it's for as it has melted

Blue/White wire behind dash is the high beam warning lamp

Sorry got it wrong way around it's the white wire with a thin blue line

It starts off at the light switch?

hi mate i had the same problem a few years back im sure there for the dash and clock light up display power probably some one cut it and fitted a system or some thing.but not 100% sure but im pretty sure thats what its for if you look it runs all over the dash and switches etc.
