battery relocation

i am sure this has been covered but i couldn't find it in the old posts.
i want to relocate my battery into the boot, but i want to keep it easy to reverse  back to standard. would i be able to do it this way and what size cable is recomended ?
this is what i thought…… battery in the boot, neg wire connected to the  rear bumper bolt into chassis  .  run a positive wire from the boot to the existing positive terminal in the engine bay and connect using some sort of junction box , and then connect the neg wire in the engine bay onto the front chassis leg.
any views on this ?  and recomendations of parts? cable size ect cheers jim.

if you get the cable from a late bmw or merc its the same diameter as the live pin on your batteryso it fits stright inside live socket that you put on the battery now just isolate it and earth the battery in the boot via the bumber iron

I ran a negative and a positive from the boot to the bay with new wire and terminals. cost me ?50 quid so if you can get the wire cheaper then you've done well.
I connected all the lives to the stater motor live, don't know weather i was right to do all this though as i'm having an electrical nightmare with clocks and stuff now. But then again I did all of this because of a 18t conversion so your biting off alot less than me.

did it when i fitted the TT lump to mk1jims old car but i didnt go straightto the battery

i left the original battery live lead under the bay and bolted the new cable into it then isolated it also ran a extra earth from back to front
