Battery Issues

My Brothers MK1 Driver Keeps Eating Batteries, Has Anyone got any ideas of what it could be?
It is baffling my brain and my brother is getting a bit angry

check the charge rate of the alternator, if the regulators gone it can be that its overchargeing, which can "cook" them.

if thats ok get a voltage/amp drain check done whilst the car is "switched off" you should see if something is draining it…..boot lights, glove box lamps etc can all be the culprit!!!

as above the altanater can over charge i had this once you could smell the acid in the car
