Batteries... recommendations please?? :)
Hey guys n gals!
the time has come to buy a new battery, mainly because it keeps going flat and is on the minimum percentage, but its coming to winter so its a good time to change it anyway, I've been to halfords and the prices of their batteries are actually quite reasonable (so I believe) please correct me if im wrong?
Their cheapest one is 59.99 for a 320 amp with 3yr warranty which i will avoid
Their next one is a calcium battery at 69.99 which is 440 amp with4yr warranty which is an option
Then they do a bosch option which is 89.99 ans is 530 amp with 5yr warranty.
Does anyone know the product codes of the best batteries for mk1's?
what does everyone else recommend?
thanks in advance

Check eurocarparts.com
There's 15% off batteries, so put the code in at the checkout and see what you get.
Bosch Silver 3/4/5 ones are good. They will last the warranty plus a couple months.

Dare I say Bosch ones look better too? as far as batteries go lol. Batteries can be a headache, if I was you I'd get a Boschy and enjoy the peace of mind!
