Audi Vdo gauges in mk1's.

Has anyone put a set of Audi vdo gauges in their mk1? if so was it hard? and did they fit into the gauge slots easily? I ve seen a couple of sets on ebay and im really tempted to buy them but im just not sure how hard they are to fit. Any info would be much appreciated.  

The gauges themselves are easy to fit, the sensors, might not be so easy and you might need a T peice for the oil one.

Hi,I`ve got two sets of audi gauges and yes they fit in.I`ve sussed out how to wire them up now,though haven`t done so yet.If you buy some ensure it house the double pinned pressure sender if you want the gauge on the mfa to work.A set sold a coupkle of days ago,made by TIM and they had all senders inc.If you go on the website you want to look out for 034,035 and 007,which are oil pressure,water temp and volts.
