Arrrrrgh quick fix help please!

Bought my mk1 two days ago and the oil buzzer keeps coming on and is driving me insane! Am waiting for my manuel to arrive so I can learn and change things but in th emean time I have checked everything and all seems ok so confident it a faulty sensor. Now after a quck read through some previous similar threads it looks like I need new dials? but in the mean time is there a way I can disconnect this? I have unplugged the wire engine side and this has made no difference.

Cheers, Craig.

There's not really a quick fix as the buzzer is on the back of the clocks so if you are changing them due to being faulty you might aswell just do it.  If you want to have a go at the buzzer there's a pic of it's location HERE  If it's a sender at fault then it's just remove old replace with new, very quick job.
