I turned the wheels all the way round as if you're going left to access the wheel arch. There you'll find some screws holding the inner arch mud guard in place. You only have to undo a few of them and prise the arch away carefully but with a positive progressive action.
You can then feed your arm up into the arch and feel for and remove the old aerial. I assume you have the head unit out and have disconnected the cable already.
Be careful pulling the cable out as it can easily snag and pull a wire out of something else causing you a whole new problem.
You'll see where the cable goes and obviously fitting the new one is a simple reversal, always taking the opportunity to treat any rust you find on the way.
