Hi
My altinator has died a death yesterday
Just spoken to GSF about a new one, they said there are two possible types, one where the pully is flush with the body of the altinator, and the other where the pully is slightly spaced from the body.
Does anyone have any idea as to which is correct for an 83GTi
Cheers
Dave

Mines spaced and I think all mk1s pulleys are? Would have thought GSF should be able to tell with the chassis number. You can check under your bonnet - the pulley is mounted on the left of the alternator with belt running round it and two pulleys beneath it.
This is a spaced one…
