HI CAN ANYONE HELP ME I HAVE A MK1 GOLF GTI CAB 1983 THE BUSHES ON MY ALTERNATOR HAVE WORN OUT SO I WENT TO VW SPECIALISTS AND THEY SAID THAT THEY DONT HAVE A PART LIST I THINK THEY JUST TOLD ME TO GO AWAY NICELY. I DONT HAVE THE MAKE OR THE MODEL NO AS THERE IS NO STICKER ON MY ALTERNATOR AS I NEED TO ORDER NEW BUSHES OR DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE FOR SALE PLEASE HELP THANKS LENNIE  

Take your alternator, or the brush pack in to an small electrical car specialists, they should be able to source a new set from the number on the unit.

GSF may be able to do this, but think I struggled to get any good info from them the last time I need a new brush pack.

Show us a pic of your alternator. 95% chance its a standard/generic brush pack needed.

hi guys i have managed to get an altornator brand new one it should of cost 200 pound from ek breaks i managed to get a brand new one for 75 pound if anybody wants one drop me a message or reply to my post as he has 5 other new ones its for a 1983 mk1 golf cab with the three pin plug adapter cheers lennie
