Advice required for VDO connections

I have recently fitted 3 VDO gauges to the centre console of my Mk1 Golf Cabrio 1987.  These are oil temp, oil pressure and volts.  

I have connected them to the dash lights, however i am uncertain as to where the other connections have to be.  Can anyone help????   :dontknow:
