Abf

I have a mk1 with an abf conversion and a later cab fusebox it cut out and wouldn't start again so I've been replacing bits to try and get to the bottom of it I have no spark until the key returns back from the furthest position the fuel pump primes and I seem to have fuel at the injector rail I've replaced the coil tci checked the cam belt checked for loose wiring and bad earths I had a few of those it will sometimes start for a few seconds and cut out I swapped the ecu for one with no immobiliser in it but still the same oh and I've changed the crank sensor which was falling apart now I'm a bit lost as to where to go from here would the ecu relay stop me getting a park it seems to click but I'm not sure if it has more tHan one set of contacts inside the fuel pump relay also clicks and the pump primes . Someone please help before I rip it all out and go carbs :( I've only had a few weeks and it's been broke for two of them

pull the ign switch plug and bridge the black wire to the red wire, this will switch on the ignition. then bridge the red wire to the red/black breifly to get the car to crank over. if that gets it going you need another ignition switch.

whos car was this before?
