2 wires - where and what!?

Hi Guys, need some assistance.

Through diagrams i have sussed most wiring for the 16v KR conversion im using a mk1 series 2 wiring loom.

1 wire which i am sure is important!

Red/White (thin wire)

This runs parallel with a Blue/White wire from the engine bay to a double pin connector in the fusebox area and then follow all the way through to the back of the speedo cluster (small 5 pin connector)

Now im fairly sure the Blue/White wire is for the high beam warning light, but where in the engine bay do i connect this? :dontknow:

and what is the Red/White wire and where does it connect to in the engine bay. Oil light perhaps? :dontknow:

Apologies i think i got then the wrong way round the wires are WHITE with red stripe and WHITE with blue stripe. Both wires are just cut and lying loose in the engine bay just need to know where to connect them to.

sounds like outside air temp sensor to me? are they in the lighting loom?

Hi, yep your right they are ive since realised that as my car is a 16v kr conversion and the mfa wont function that these teo wires are not necessary! Have stripped them from the conversion now, appreciate your response!
