16v cold start valve..

Hi guys

It seems as though i dont have a pin 15a on my starter solenoid  :dontknow:

which means i have no where to plug the black cold start wire into  
 
is there anywhere else i can plug it in?

fraid not!  either leave it off or change the starter for a MK1/2 k-jet one

Thought i read somewhere that if a throttle switch connection is not used then you can just hook the csv to -50 starter pin..? or am i talking rubbish?  

trouble with doing that is the cold throttle enrichment, it'll kick your starter in if you floor it when cold

std fitment on the 16v, its controlled by the metal vac switch on the back of the airbox. This gets 12v from the idle switch with the throttle opens and the vac switch passes current when it sees a hard throttle condition.

if you don't have this then yeah you could do that

oh i see..    that would have been a suprise if the starter had of kicked in half way up the road
