1.8 8v to 1.8 16v kr engine
I have 1982 mk1 golf gti 1.8 8v (kjet), recently my original engine decidided after 30 years it would retire, so I decided to swap for the 1.8 16v kr engine.
I managed to get a kr engine, pretty much complete, with a Tsr wiring loom, ecu and isv box, along with bigger inlet pipes/manifold, Ashley 4 branch and a spare engine with a few treats that I'm building up.
However I'm not to great when it comes to wiring looms.
The original engine had 2 plugs at the back of the inlet manifold, do I still use these plugs with the kr engine?
Any help would be great, if people need pictures of the Tsr loom, to see what I'm working with I can happily post them and name each plug.
Many thanks

the two connectors behind the inlet are for the aav but this is replaced by the isv (black plug) and the other is for 5th injector (blue plug). you can use the 5th injector plug but you may need to re wire it to work off the starter motor along with the vac switch on airbox

The isv box is directly on top of the ecu.
The whole set is an ecu with the isv box on top of it. With another plug which goes into the standard ignition module on the car.
Then there is a throttle switch and idle valve plug. A dizzy plug. Water temp sensor and coil negative and positive.
Any help?

if you have the isv plug then you dont need the aav wires
the 5th injector plug you will need to keep if there isnt one on the tsr loom.
if you have the vacum switch it will need the black wire to the starter along with the 5th inj.
the other wire on blue plug is from the thermo time switch (brown plug) this connects under the water pipe on side of head
