1.6D Mk1 photo quiz

Just about to get my MK1 back on the road after 8 years.
Fitted another 1.6 D engine and can't find the photos of the wiring.

No prizes I'm afraid just that warm glow you get from helping a fellow VW freak.  

Photo 1 single brown wire coming from the alternator.
Where does this wire go?



Photo 2 red wire black stripe
Think this goes to the diesel cut-out on the pump!



Photo 3 Wires coming from the radiator fan - to temp sensor in radiator but which wire where?



If you could pm pics of your engine wiring that would help.

Diesel owners , help ?

 

Annoyingly enough my camera's batteries have run out and not got any spares. It probably wouldn't have taken a good enough photo anyway. Your red striped wire in photo 2 should be the one that goes to the stop solenoid on the injection pump, by looking at mine. Getting mixed up about the rest though. In photo 3, what colour's the one your thumb's obscuring? I'll see if Bert knows what's what for you in the meantime.
