I've got a J-Reg sportline, and the dash has started doing  crazy  schtuff, like…

The clock / MFA not working at all from time to time…

The clock display screen goes blank when i turn my dipped/head lights on, and also my rev counter starts freaking out…

What's all that aboot??

Any comments gratefully appreciated!

Just rinsed lots and lots on the mk1 on service, clutch, exhaust, and, well a list as long as my arm.

It drives superb, but it'd be no good if it went up in flames!!!!

Easy cheap one to fix….. Look under the bonnet for an earth wire (brown)thats come away from the rocker cover. It should be hanging down the right hand side as you look at the engine. The wire runs into the main loom ans should connect to the rear right 'peg' under the nut.
