What's your MPG?

Hi,

I just filled up for the first time, and managed 699 kms on 34.7 litres, which works out as 57mpg. I've had one answer already on my post, but it would be interesting to compare with other diesel owners.
It's a 1500, and I've used it every day to go to work for the last ten days. Mainly on country roads with very little traffic. Max comfortable speed with the 4-speed box is 95/100 kmh. It could go a lot faster, but it gets noisy.

I got 59mpg out of my diesel going to Germany

And my mk2 diesel I get 56mpg just cruising around

nice, what diesel engines are these?.. TDI or TD? aaz?

1.6 gtd engine out of mk2's or passats or jettas

aaz driven gently i get 52 mpg,driven like ive stole it about 40  
90 mpg on cooking oil as its cheaper  8)

latest tankful made 730 km on 34.9 litres,works out as 59mpg!!!
